About

Aki was born and brought up in Osaka, Japan where she soon discovered a passion for the fashion and beauty industries. Her apprenticeship was served under several leading fashion houses as a stylist assisting on commercial photo shoots. With a life-long ambition to travel and experience Western culture, she finally visited, and subsequently settled in London, United Kingdom. It was in London that she studied hairstyling to compliment her make-up experience of Japan, enabling her to work seamlessly as a hair and make-up artist in both Western and Eastern asian cultures.

Aki currently works as a hairstylist at Westbrook – a West London salon based in Kew Village, and as a hair and make-up artist for photo shoots and weddings.
